Here we have provided you with a "Questions and Answers Guide" for your convenience.
Pricing Basics
All prices are based on a gas tank with a front and rear fender such as the size of a Softtail standard or a Wide Glide.
Base Coating
We will base coat your bike a solid color for only $400.00, if you are committing to artwork.
To re-base a bike a solid color without the commitment to the artwork will be $600.00 to $800.00.
A Heritage is going to be a bit more because the fenders are larger.
A Road King is going to be more because it has saddlebags and side covers.
Ultra’s or Dresser's are very labor intensive and require a lot more material for the job. Your quote will reflect the difference for those reasons, however, you'll still find great prices too.

Repair Work
Small jobs:
Rock chips, dings, and superficial scratches on your tank or fender that will require a minimal amount of filler. These are easily fixed and may not require additional charges when we paint your bike.
Medium jobs:
Depending on the nature of the damage, these repairs start at $150.00 and include more serious chips, deep scratches, and dent repair(s).
Send a digital picture of the damage.
Big jobs:
When would it be considered unfixable?
When it would cost more to repair then to replace it.
From our experience an insurance company will go as high as 60% to 70% of the value of the component to repair it, therefore, if a tank cost $1000.00 to replace it and I can fix it for $600.00 which is 60% then the insurance company will go ahead and fix it.
Also with Harley-Davidson, depending on the shop your working with, there may be a 6 to 8 week turn around on replacing a part.
So, if we can repair it for less then the replacement value and get you back on the road in two to three weeks then that’s cost effective just from a time stand point.
We do repairs on a regular basis for quite a few shops located in our area. We come highly recommended and would be glad to provide you with references.
Insurance issues?
No Problem! We do deal with insurance companies and we do give repair estimates upon request and we can also send repair estimates directly to your insurance company and deal directly with them if that’s required.
Aftermarket or Raw sheet metal
Here are a few details you may or may-not know if your considering to have aftermarket sheet metal painted for the first time.
First, it’s thoroughly sand blasted to remove any rust from the surface.
Then the inside of the tank is etched and sealed.
Now, the outer surface is etched for a skim coat of filler.
All aftermarket tanks and fenders requires a skim coat of body filler.
We use as little as possible but enough to obtain a smooth surface. We don't want waves or anything like that.
From here on the process is the same as factory sheet metal.
As you have read, aftermarket requires more work. Your quote will reflect the difference in labor and materials. Our painter broke his teeth in on jobs like this for the first 10 years of his career so expect a high quality job.

For the finishing touch, your sheet metal will be buffed to a showroom finish. Smooth as glass and so shiny you'd think it was wet.

Metal Flake, Pearls, and the like.

The price difference between doing Flames and Trbals is the time in which it takes to complete the job.
